@JayPull85 Well ye it’s pretty hard to become a member,other than the physical part that you already mentioned you also need to be mentally prepared to be a SWAT member.
Hey dunno where u live but here in ontario, Canada you need to be a police officer for 4 years before joining the swat team ours is called TRU

Whats it like to be on SWAT?

Not necesarily Magic, when police call in the S.W.A.T team it is either a hostige situation,and heavely armed or baricaded suspect. When S.W.A.T is called they are there to use lethal force and if the suspects don’t surender they may or most likly will be shot and killed or seriously wounded, but if at all posible they will ocasionaly try to aprehend the suspect by disabling the suspect
No, aprehending a suspect isn’t always the case if the S.W.A.T team is called in its in a hostige situation, hevely armed or baracaded suspects. If the S.W.A.T team is called and if the suspects don’t surrender they will either be killed or commit suicide if they do not surrender.
@FoShizzleMaWizzle well if you think about it if it was a real life situation you would have to have the control of your pistol after caring a child or adult victim

I see it as soldiers are to fight outside the country and swat inside. whe have so much problems in our country that need to be taken of first.
man if i was the person incharge, id train them as if i was a drill instructor. just saying because this training doesn’t look tough at all, and their kickass SWAT team, they gotta be tough
